How does the 100 Night Comfort Trial Work?

We understand that 10 minutes in a store is hardly enough time to test out a mattress. So we’re giving you 100 nights to try out your HappySleep mattress before you make up your mind.

If after this time you’re still not satisfied we’ll donate your mattress to charity and provide you with a full refund 100% . Just call or e-mail us and we’ll take care of the rest. All we ask is that you try the mattress for a month before returning it as it takes times to adjust to a new mattress. You must keep the mattress free from stains and tears.

*PLEASE NOTE if you are getting a shipping error message on checkout it means we are unable to offer the comfort trial to your selected area due to lack of  a participating charity who can donate your mattress. We will provide you with an alternative method to checkout but please be aware you will not be eligible for the comfort trial.

What kind of mattress is a HappySleep?

The HappySleep is part of new generation of reduced sleep disturbance pressure relieving mattresses.

We’ve taken tried and proven comfort materials and made them even better, removing common issues such as heat and strong chemical odours.

Our top layer is a custom pour pin core hypoallergenic latex pad that provides proven pressure relief and responsiveness.

Our middle layer is a specially formulated memory foam layer that distributes body weight evening and is virtually chemical odour free compared to similar products on the market.

Our base layer provides a durable high density support layer to support you for 10 years of perfect sleep.

Do I have to ship it back in its original box if I decide to return it?

No. But we may ask you to leave it just outside your door or be home so that the mattress can be collected by your local charity or mattress recycler. Mattresses are donated to charities or given to mattress recyclers who will shred up the mattress to prevent it going to landfill.

What is the cover made from?

Our Cover is make from breathable Tencel quilting. Tencel consist of natural wood pulp fibres that are durable, soft to touch and breathable.

Our unique 3D hexagon pattern allows superior airflow and a unique texture.

Our fabric is OekoTex certified meaning it is free from harmful chemicals.

Does the HappySleep mattress sleep hot?

Through our research, we’ve found the main contributor to a hot sleep is the amount of sag you experience on a mattress. So we’ve specified our mattress to adjust to the Australian climate. Our latex provides first class responsiveness to body weight meaning reduced sag during sleep and is aerated with pin holes to allow air flow.

We recommend using bamboo/tencel/lyocell/sateen sheets with the HappySleep mattress. Do not use budget high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets or polyester based mattress protectors as these may trap heat.

Where can I test the HappySleep mattress?

We give you 100 Nights to try out the HappySleep mattress. If you decide you aren’t Happy with your HappySleep, you can return it for a full refund.

If you’re after a no fuss ordeal, then you can try the mattress at one of our pop up stores throughout Melbourne.

What weight can the HappySleep mattress handle?

The HappySleep mattress is designed to provide the best pressure relief on the market – distributing weight and bounce disturbance evenly throughout the mattress. It will support two people up to 150kg each.

What kind of bed base or bed frames should I use?

You can use your HappySleep mattress on any bed base or bed frame with slat that are no wider than 10 cm apart.

You can use it directly on the floor but we only recommend this method if there isn’t much moisture in your house. Old houses and apartments have a lot of moisture coming from the floor that may cause condensation and cause mould to develop.

How long will the HappySleep mattress take to unwrap?

The HappySleep mattress will unfurl within 30 minutes but please allow 48-72 hours for it to expand back to it’s full shape. You can sleep on it straight away.

We use the latest in German technology to placed the mattress in the box. We only use the highest quality foams that can survive this process – meaning more resilient materials are used to make your mattress. Such foams have much greater density and longevity than most non-compressed foams that have not been compression tested.

How high is the mattress?

Our mattress is about 10 inches thick.

Do you offer finance?

Yes, we offer AfterPay and ZipPay

Can you pack the mattress back in the box?

You would need super human strength to squeeze it back into the box. So unless you’re Thor and have a magical hammer to whack it back in – unfortunately it would not be possible.

Why is the mattress so much cheaper than what I see in retail stores?

The long elaborate retail supply chain has so many middle people taking cuts sometimes the cost of the product is only an extremely small fraction of the price you actually pay. By taking out pretty showrooms with high rents and commission based sales staff we reduce the unnecessary mark ups, meaning you pay a fraction of what it would cost in a traditional retail shop.

Hassle free returns, uber customer service, awesome Happy Sleep.

Where is the HappySleep Mattress manufactured?

The HappySleep mattress is designed in Melbourne and made in China. We considered manufacturing locally but found that we ended up buying from material wholesalers who simply imported the materials from overseas. To reduce our costs we decided on doing the assembly overseas as well.

Do I need to flip or rotate the mattress?

No flipping required. Although rotating the mattress every few months or so will allow a more even wear throughout the life of the mattress.

How do I return my mattress?

If you’re not getting HappySleep with our mattress, simply return it to us for a full refund. If you’re in a metro area of a capital city we’ll come pickup the mattress and have it donated to charity or recycled. All we ask that you wait at least 30 days before returning it as it takes a minimum of 30 days to adjust to a new mattress.
