• You must use a mattress protector with your mattress for hygiene reasons.
  • Mattresses must be completely stain free and free from tears. Do not use bleach to wipe off stains as charities will also refuse pickup.
  • Any mattresses with tears or stains will be refused pickup by our charity partners and your trial will be void.
  • Your pickup may take longer than normal and new procedures will have to be followed to ensure your safety and the safety of the staff picking up. This is to ensure the long term program of being able to offer comfort trials and we thank you very much for your cooperation in this trying times.

*Purchases from 01/07/2020 to 01/11/2021 have not been eligible for the comfort trial.

100 Night Trial

We’re giving you 100 Nights to try us out

Not Happy? We’ll pick it up* and give you a full refund.

We understand that 10 minutes in a store is hardly enough time to test out a mattress. So, when you buy directly from us we’re giving you 100 nights to try out your HappySleep mattress before you make up your mind.

If after this time you’re still not satisfied, we wi provide you with a full refund and donate your mattress to charity. Just e-mail us and we’ll take care of the rest. All we ask is that you try the mattress for a month before returning it as it takes time to adjust to a new mattress.

Some reasonable terms and conditions:

We’ll pick it up if you’re in a metro area (within 20km of the CBD) in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth. Sometimes this may take 5-10 business days to arrange with a suitable charity. Your refund will be processed within 2 days of return of your mattress.

Outside of metro areas we ask that you drop it off at your cost to your closest distribution centre/Salvation army store/recycling plant. However, we will try our best to have a charity or recycling company pick it up for you – in very rare cases there may be no participating Charity or recycling plant within reach to collect your mattress and we would not be able to offer the comfort trial – this will be indicated at checkout when there are no shipping options.


  1. Try the mattress for at least 30 days.
  2. Your mattress must be undamaged and free from major stains including mold growth and cigarette burns. Charities will not accept damaged or stained mattresses. We may ask that you take a picture of your mattress before we arrange for pickup for OH&S purposes.
  3. You will need to be home on the day of the pickup which is determined by the availability of the charity in your area.
  4. Available on mattresses only. No comfort policy exchange is available on accessories or bases purchased with the mattress.
  5. Only 1 comfort exchange is allowed per household. We can only pickup from your original address as your postcode is checked to see if there is a participating charity for collections in your area.
  6. Refunds will be processed within 48 hours after the successful collection of the mattress.
  7. Refunds can only be returned via the original purchase method or credit card. If your purchase was via Afterpay and you are still within the payment your payment plan, we will notify Afterpay to stop the plan and refund any installments you have made.

Please be aware if you purchase your mattress from a reseller the 100 Night Trial does not apply nor can we enforce this on the reseller. Please check with the reseller for their exchange policy.
